Talione is a recruitment agency operated by 16473199 Canada Inc. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Candidates: details you share with us or that are publicly available on professional networks, such as your name, contact details, work history, skills and salary expectations.
- Clients and prospects: business contact details and information about the roles you are hiring for.
- Website visitors: information you submit through our forms, and basic usage data collected by analytics and advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To match candidates with job opportunities and to present candidates to employers, with the candidate's consent.
- To communicate with candidates, clients and prospects about recruitment services.
- To run our business, including accounting, invoicing and legal obligations.
- To understand and improve how our website is used.
Internal tools and integrations
We use third-party services to operate, including our accounting software (QuickBooks Online). Our internal staff portal connects to our own QuickBooks Online company with read-only access to report on our own expenses. That data stays within Talione's systems and is not shared, sold or used for any other purpose.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with employers you have agreed to be presented to, with service providers who process it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, or where the law requires it. Some providers may store data outside Canada.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we protect it with access controls and encrypted connections.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing us. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in each message.
