Yard Supervisor - Seaforth

The Yard Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all yard activities, including managing yard employees, equipment, vehicles, deliveries, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to create a customer-centric atmosphere while ensuring the well-being of employees and vendors. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring yard associates and delivery drivers, coordinating daily customer deliveries, and managing inventory by receiving, sorting, and stocking incoming products. The supervisor will also ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain equipment and vehicle records, and uphold company policies. Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to motivate and train staff, and effective verbal and written communication abilities. Strong relationship-building skills and the capacity to influence a team towards common goals are essential. Compensation for this position starts at an hourly wage of $23, with benefits including a pension plan after one year, a work boot allowance, and employee discounts.
