Yard Hand

We are seeking a full-time Yard Hand for a site-based role in central Alberta. This position involves a mix of outdoor and shop work supporting day-to-day operations in a busy industrial setting. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment. You should be able to follow instructions, work well with others, and manage tasks independently when needed. Physical stamina is important, as the role includes standing for long periods, frequent bending and lifting, and moving materials safely throughout the yard and work areas. Key duties include organizing and relocating materials, helping prepare parts and equipment for fabrication work, assisting with moving and emptying bins, and supporting technicians with general labour tasks as assigned. The role also includes using basic hand and power tools, cleaning vehicles and equipment, and completing other routine duties to help keep the site running efficiently. Safety is a priority, so candidates must work carefully and follow established procedures at all times. Prior experience in a yard, shop, construction, or similar environment is an asset, but not required. Compensation will be based on experience and a competitive benefits package is offered.
