VP of Finance - *

Vice President of Finance role for a growing, private equity-backed marine technology business. This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for operating financial leadership, planning, forecasting, reporting, and post-acquisition integration. The successful candidate will partner closely with the COO and business unit leaders to provide decision-useful financial insight and support disciplined growth. Key responsibilities include owning the annual operating plan, maintaining a rolling forecast for cash, EBITDA, and full-year results, and leading the monthly reporting cadence for the leadership team. The role also includes building variance commentary, improving forecast accuracy, managing cash conversion cycle performance, and supporting the integration of acquired businesses onto the finance platform after close. The finance team is small and includes an experienced Controller along with accounts payable/accounts receivable support. This position will lead the team and help strengthen financial discipline, accountability, and succession planning. Strong experience operating in multiple currencies and across international markets is important. The role is expected to evolve as the business grows and could develop into a broader CFO-level position over time. Candidates should be comfortable in a dynamic environment, working closely with senior leadership, and driving continuous improvement in financial operations and reporting.
