We are seeking a vocational rehabilitation professional to work remotely anywhere in Canada. In this role, you will assess an individual’s current and potential work abilities by reviewing physical, cognitive, and psychological factors. You will use the information gathered to prepare objective evaluations of transferable skills, employability, and earning capacity, while supporting rehabilitation planning.
You will work closely with rehabilitation specialists and other team members to collect and review evidence, clarify referral questions, and produce clear recommendations based on documented findings. Responsibilities include conducting vocational assessments, identifying when additional specialized testing may be needed, and summarizing those results in a way that supports final conclusions. You will also maintain detailed case notes, prepare accurate and timely reports, and ensure all required documentation is completed properly. Strong communication, responsiveness, confidentiality, and time management are important in this role, along with the ability to manage billable targets and meet established deadlines.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as psychology, counselling, kinesiology, or rehabilitation. A recognized vocational rehabilitation designation is required, along with several years of direct experience in vocational rehabilitation, including assessment work, analysis of medical or psychosocial information, and making evidence-based recommendations.
