Vice President, Origination & Syndication

The Vice President, Origination & Syndication is a senior, client-facing role responsible for driving business growth, leading transaction execution, and developing talent within the team. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, this position combines business development, capital structuring, and deal execution. The VP will originate new opportunities, manage key relationships, and oversee transactions from initial sourcing to funding and closing. Key responsibilities include leading a high-performing deal team, executing an entrepreneurial sales strategy aligned with organizational goals, and providing coaching and mentorship to team members. The VP will also identify new clients, maintain relationships throughout project lifecycles, and act as the senior relationship lead on transactions, offering strategic guidance. In terms of capital structuring, the VP will align financing solutions across various capital sources and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate capital is secured for each transaction. The role involves evaluating and underwriting complex development financing opportunities, analyzing financial models and market conditions, and preparing high-quality credit materials.
