Vice President of Security

We are seeking a senior security leader to guide and strengthen the security program for a fast-growing technology business operating connected hardware and software systems. This role will shape strategy across corporate security, product and platform protection, risk and compliance, and security operations while keeping pace with business growth. The right person will set priorities, improve existing controls, and help security enable the company rather than slow it down. You will work closely with leaders across engineering, IT, product, and operations to build secure practices into development, infrastructure, identity management, and day-to-day operations. The role also includes improving governance practices, supporting audit and compliance readiness, and building practical policies, monitoring, and training that support safer handling of data and sensitive systems. A key part of the job is leading incident response planning and helping mature the organization’s ability to detect, investigate, and respond to security events. You will manage and develop a technical security team, communicate risk clearly to executives and other stakeholders, and create reporting that shows progress, risk trends, and operational health. Candidates should bring deep security experience, leadership in a high-growth environment, and the ability to balance technical rigor with business needs.
