Vice President, Fraud Strategy and Operations

This senior leadership role is responsible for shaping and running fraud prevention and response across multiple customer and product journeys. The position oversees strategy, monitoring, and operational execution to reduce fraud losses while maintaining a smooth customer experience and efficient internal processes. Working closely with leaders across analytics, engineering, product, operations, and risk, you will turn risk tolerance into practical controls and decision-making. You will guide fraud strategy for new launches, review emerging threats, and adjust rules and processes to address changing attack patterns. A key part of the role is balancing detection strength with acceptable false positive levels and operational capacity. The role also owns reporting and analysis for fraud performance, including trend monitoring, key metrics, and loss forecasting on a regular basis. You will help ensure forecasts are accurate, risks are clearly understood, and priorities are aligned across teams. In addition, you will manage external partners involved in fraud tooling or data support, evaluate potential new solutions, and stay informed on industry developments and regulatory expectations. The role includes leading and coaching a team of fraud strategy professionals, setting clear priorities, and presenting recommendations and results to senior leadership.
