Vice President, Finance

A growing technology company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to establish and lead the finance planning and analysis function. This is a hands-on build opportunity for someone who can create a forward-looking finance framework on top of an existing accounting foundation and help guide the business through its next stage of growth. Reporting to the CEO, you will partner closely with the Controller, who manages accounting, close, and cash operations. Your focus will be on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial decision support. The role includes building an operating model that covers revenue, headcount, expenses, and cash flow; developing monthly and annual planning processes; and creating clear product-level financial views to support strategic decisions. You will also own revenue forecasting across multiple business streams, maintain consistent reporting definitions, and support revenue recognition discussions with external advisors. In addition, you will be responsible for rolling cash forecasts, runway planning, funding visibility, and finance policies related to foreign exchange and spending controls. The position includes board and investor reporting, preparation of regular KPI updates, and maintenance of a well-organized diligence data room. You may also support strategic analysis for partnerships or acquisition-related opportunities. Experience with complex revenue models, investor communications, and scaling finance operations is important.
