Verification and Validation Test Specialist

We are looking for an experienced test professional to support integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities for complex engineered systems. In this role, you will help plan and run test events, review requirements, update existing test scripts when needed, and document results clearly. You will also contribute to traceability, investigate defects, and support the preparation of formal test and reliability reports. The position requires a strong background in requirements analysis, test planning, and test procedure development. You should be comfortable working with test management tools and be able to apply structured methods and practical tools to support testing across lab and field environments. Experience with physical systems is important, particularly equipment that includes mechanical, electrical, or fluid-related components. This opportunity is best suited to someone with prior verification and validation experience in regulated or mission-critical environments, preferably involving marine, defense, or other system-of-systems applications. Work may include site visits and testing in challenging locations, so adaptability and a hands-on approach are essential. A degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, along with several years of relevant experience. Strong English communication skills are required, and the ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearances is essential. The role is on-site and offers annual compensation in the range of CAD 95,000 to 115,000.
