Transportation Supervisor

Transportation Supervisor needed for a full-time, onsite position. The role operates Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a salary range of $75,000 to $76,000, depending on experience. Key responsibilities include leading daily dock operations by supervising a small team of dock workers and an onsite dispatcher, ensuring accurate and timely freight loading and dispatching. The supervisor will coach and develop team members, providing training and real-time feedback while fostering a positive and safety-focused work environment. Coordination with the Line Haul division is essential to ensure trailers are loaded and sealed properly for scheduled departures. The supervisor will monitor key performance indicators, maintain operational flow during shift transitions, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Additional duties involve reviewing freight documentation for accuracy and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with at least two years in a supervisory role within a logistics or transportation environment. Strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting are required. The position requires comfort working second shift in a cold dock environment. Pay range is approximately $60,900 to $95,200.
