Transition Manager

We are seeking an experienced Transition Manager to oversee the handoff of large building projects from construction into operational use. In this role, you will coordinate final delivery activities such as equipment arrival, startup, commissioning, and integrated testing, while keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with contract requirements. You will take ownership of project execution and work closely with client representatives, sales, program leadership, operations teams, and subcontractors to support early planning, define scope, assess risks, and identify opportunities for value improvement. A key part of the role is managing financial performance, including billing, collections, change orders, and cash flow, while maintaining strong communication with internal stakeholders and customers. The position also involves reviewing contract terms, monitoring schedules and project reporting, addressing issues before they become problems, and preparing recovery plans when needed. You will help ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, and safety standards, and maintain accurate project documentation throughout the lifecycle of the job. The ideal candidate has experience managing complex construction or mechanical projects, is comfortable leading discussions with multiple stakeholders, and can balance client satisfaction with strong commercial results.
