Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to prepare quotes and support customer projects in a manufacturing environment. This full-time permanent position involves reviewing request-for-quotation packages, technical drawings, and project details, then working with internal teams and external contacts to clarify scope, assess feasibility, and build accurate quotation packages with pricing and timelines. The successful candidate will present solution-focused proposals that explain how customer needs will be met from concept through to contract. You will also manage and organize technical documentation through internal business systems and act as a key contact for important accounts, helping maintain strong customer relationships. The role offers a competitive salary in the $60,000 to $90,000 range, along with a comprehensive benefits package and retirement-related support. We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in engineering or a related field, along with experience in tooling, automation, or heavy manufacturing. A strong understanding of manufacturing and mechanical engineering principles is important, as is the ability to review CAD files and work confidently with spreadsheets and technical documentation. The ideal candidate can manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, and adapt quickly when urgent requests arise. Occasional travel within North America may be required, and this is an on-site role.
