Technical Lead

Job Title: Technical Lead – Detail Design Job Type: Permanent Salary: $85,000 - $106,000 CAD Annually Location: On-Site The Technical Lead – Detail Design will collaborate closely with the Senior Team Lead to prepare 3D modeling designs, interpret drawings, ensure compliance with requirements, and guide the design team throughout the project to maintain regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members on project-related tasks. - Utilize the program delivery plan to prioritize team activities, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost-effectiveness. - Employ advanced engineering tools, including CAD and information management systems, to complete complex design activities. - Escalate complex design issues appropriately and advise management on technical resolutions impacting project timelines. - Review and approve engineering deliverables to ensure adherence to standards and regulatory requirements. - Manage design constraints and address non-compliance through established processes. - Contribute to technical governance and quality management by reviewing engineering outputs, including bills of materials. - Support customers during the approval process for spatial design. Required Skills: - Vocational training or equivalent experience in a technical or engineering role. - Significant experience in large-scale engineering projects. - Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with processes, data systems, and industry standards. - Ability to interpret and communicate technical instructions effectively. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong client interaction capabilities.
