System Integrator

We are seeking a System Integrator to join a growing engineering team supporting infrastructure and industrial automation projects. This role focuses on control systems work for public-utility and industrial clients, with responsibilities spanning programming, testing, startup, and ongoing support. In this position, you will read control system drawings and translate them into clear technical documentation such as control narratives, functional requirements, and input/output lists. You will develop and maintain PLC and SCADA solutions, participate in factory and site testing, assist with commissioning, and help troubleshoot systems after deployment. The work also includes training end users, coordinating with project teams, and contributing to successful project delivery. Experience with industrial networking, control panels, instrumentation, server setup, virtualization, or network device configuration would be helpful. The ideal candidate brings several years of experience in system integration and automation software development, preferably in water/wastewater or a related industrial environment. Familiarity with control hardware and operator interface platforms is important, and additional knowledge of programming languages, databases, and reporting tools is an asset. A background in engineering, technology, controls, or programming is preferred, along with strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. A relevant certification or eligibility toward one is considered beneficial. This role is based in a hybrid office and field setting, with occasional travel and site visits requiring standard safety equipment and a valid driver’s license.
