Surintendant(e) de chantier

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Construction Superintendent to oversee and coordinate the construction of high-end residential projects in the Greater Montreal area. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary range of CAD 80,000 to CAD 110,000 per year. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily management of construction operations, coordinating trades, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring the smooth progression of projects from pre-construction through to final delivery. You will play a crucial role in delivering homes that reflect a commitment to excellence, precision, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: - Pre-construction coordination: Review plans and specifications to understand project scope, define key milestones and timelines, prepare sites for efficient execution, and identify potential risks with proactive solutions. - Construction management: Collaborate with the project coordinator to adhere to schedules, budgets, and quality standards, supervise subcontractors, ensure compliance with work scopes, control quality at all stages, anticipate challenges, and maintain organized project documentation. - Post-construction service: Provide professional and responsive after-sales service, manage service calls efficiently, and ensure prompt resolution of deficiencies and warranty-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of residential construction experience, strong knowledge of the home building process, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, time management and leadership abilities, and proficiency in both French and English. Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical plans is essential.
