We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support quality systems, supplier performance, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with internal teams and external suppliers to help ensure products and processes meet established quality standards and customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include monitoring supplier performance, supporting supplier qualification and development, and managing corrective actions when material issues arise. You will review supplier submissions, assist with technical support, and help track quality metrics and reporting. The position also involves maintaining quality management documentation, preparing dashboards and KPI summaries, and using data analysis and statistical methods to identify opportunities for improvement.
Additional duties include supporting calibration activities, performing measurement system reviews, assisting with audits, and helping investigate nonconformities by identifying root causes and coordinating corrective actions. You may also provide support for internal audit activities and other quality-related projects as needed.
The ideal candidate has several years of experience in manufacturing quality or supplier quality, along with strong knowledge of quality systems and core quality tools. Familiarity with inspection methods, engineering drawings, and geometric tolerancing is an asset. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are important, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
