The Staff Product Manager is responsible for defining the strategy, roadmap, and product requirements for an Autonomous Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) Service, aimed at transforming day-to-day operations for airlines and airport customers worldwide. This role ensures that the AGSE Service is capable, performant, and reliable to meet customer needs.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Staff Product Manager will establish the direction for the product organization, focusing on autonomous driving capabilities, fleet operations, and evaluation infrastructure. Responsibilities include engaging with airline and airport customers to gather insights, translating those into product requirements, and incorporating them into a comprehensive product roadmap that supports various business objectives.
The Staff Product Manager will lead a team in defining and owning the roadmap for each product vertical, providing clarity and structure to translate high-level service goals into actionable plans. This role requires strong product leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to guide engineering teams through complex challenges while making informed trade-offs for safety-critical products.
Key responsibilities include defining product strategy, establishing KPIs to track product health, collaborating with engineering teams on system requirements, and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders. The Staff Product Manager will also mentor team members, establish best practices for product development, and lead customer engagement efforts.
