Site Superintendent - Penticton

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee a new ground-up restaurant project in a scenic location. This role involves leading the project from start to finish, ensuring that it is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating trades, resolving issues in real time, and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, and consultants. The project is valued at approximately $3.5 million and is expected to last around six months, with the potential for additional work in the region. The work schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday during the day, with some weekend work required to meet project milestones. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily construction activities, collaborating with the project management team, tracking documentation using construction management software, and monitoring budgets to identify efficiencies and control costs. Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years of experience in commercial construction, particularly as a Site Superintendent, and possess strong communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in construction management software is essential, along with a valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel to the site. Accommodation and living allowances will be provided for those working away from home, and regular return trips home will be coordinated for out-of-town candidates.
