Shipping Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced shipping supervisor to oversee daily outbound operations in a busy distribution and production setting. This role suits a hands-on leader who can guide frontline staff, keep work moving efficiently, and ensure orders leave accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, building team capability, and supporting a workplace focused on safety, quality, and steady improvement. Key responsibilities include directing shift activities, organizing staff assignments, and helping maintain smooth workflow across shipping, inventory, receiving, and transportation functions. You will coach team members, handle performance follow-up when needed, and communicate priorities clearly at the start of each shift. The position also involves monitoring output and service targets, resolving day-to-day operational issues, and supporting efforts to improve accuracy and equipment use. A strong focus on health and safety is essential. You will help ensure procedures are followed, conduct regular checks, and address hazards quickly. The role also supports process improvements, root cause review, and the rollout of new systems or equipment. Candidates should have several years of supervisory experience in shipping, warehousing, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing. Bilingual English/French skills are required, along with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
