Senior Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced sourcing professional to support the procurement of engineered thermal and pressure equipment for project-based industrial applications. In this senior role, you will help develop a stronger supply chain function by identifying new suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, and managing subcontracts for complex, custom-built equipment and related services. You will work closely with engineering, estimating, project management, purchasing, and operations teams to support proposal activity and project execution. Responsibilities include preparing sourcing strategies for long-lead items, evaluating vendor capabilities, reviewing technical documentation, and gathering pricing and lead-time information to support commercial decisions. You will also manage RFQs, coordinate bid reviews, recommend awards, and help keep procurement schedules on track. The role involves administering subcontract packages from award through completion, including fabrication, testing, delivery, and related field or specialty services. You will monitor schedule, quality, and commercial performance, and help resolve change orders, claims, and other issues as they arise. Additional duties include building and maintaining a qualified supplier base, conducting vendor assessments, tracking market conditions, and supporting improvements to procurement processes, templates, and controls. This position is well suited to someone with strong technical understanding, sound negotiation skills, and experience in a fast-paced project environment.
