Senior Software Analyst

This role is part of the software team supporting a mission-critical operator workstation used to monitor and control complex remote systems. The position is responsible for shaping the overall software structure, improving the user experience, and ensuring reliable data flow across the application stack. You will help define technical requirements, create implementation plans, and support the ongoing development of a highly available control-station environment. Key responsibilities include coordinating the integration of third-party and open-source software components, reviewing them for security and performance, and ensuring they work together as a stable desktop solution. You will also design backend services that collect and process live telemetry, multiple data feeds, and video information in real time. In addition, the role involves building responsive displays and map-based visualizations that improve operator awareness during demanding situations. The position also calls for developing secure access controls, authentication logic, and logging features within a protected network environment. You may help create interface layouts and input workflows that reduce user workload and support safe decision-making in abnormal conditions. Documentation, validation scripts, and configuration records will be part of the work to support certification and long-term maintenance. Candidates should have experience with software architecture for distributed or safety-sensitive systems, strong knowledge of asynchronous communication and multi-threaded processing, and familiarity with modern UI and visualization tools. A degree in a technical field is preferred.
