Senior RF Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior RF Systems Engineer to lead the design, integration, and verification of advanced RF systems, including RF routing, fiber extension, RF-over-IP, and transceiver front-end systems. This is a hands-on technical role with ownership of designs from concept through working hardware, along with system-level analysis and bench validation. You will collaborate with signal processing, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams in a fast-paced environment supporting mission-critical applications. Key responsibilities include architecting and designing high-performance RF receiver chains from antenna port to ADC, with components such as LNAs, filters, mixers, amplifiers, and switching networks. You will perform end-to-end RF link budget analysis across a wide frequency range, including path loss, atmospheric effects, multipath, and interference margin. The role also involves developing noise figure budgets, specifying and verifying key RF performance parameters, designing RF analog circuits, and supporting PCB-level RF layout guidance. You may also design scalable RF routers with strong port isolation and compact physical size. In the lab, you will own initial test and verification of your designs using standard RF test equipment, execute and document performance testing, troubleshoot issues, and support qualification testing such as environmental, EMI/EMC, and reliability screening. You will lead systems engineering activities, review documentation, mentor junior engineers, and support integration or performance issues as needed. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field, 10+ years of RF hardware design experience, strong RF analog and digital design knowledge, experience with RF propagation and link budget modelling, and proficiency with RF simulation and EDA tools.
