Senior Quotations Specialist

This role supports the preparation of competitive quotes for project-based opportunities by coordinating closely with suppliers, internal sales teams, and customer contacts. The position focuses on reviewing bid opportunities, gathering pricing and product information, and helping shape complete quotation packages for complex or high-value requests. Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities that fit the bidding process, organizing material lists, and confirming technical and pricing details with vendors. You will work with customer representatives to secure the information and approvals needed to move a bid forward, then help prepare and submit final quote documents. The role also involves negotiating pricing and considering alternatives when needed, resolving questions that arise during the bidding stage, and following up on open quotes to track status and next steps. In addition, you may support sales efforts by spotting opportunities within existing accounts and ensuring quoted items align with resulting orders. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, along with prior experience assembling full bid packages. Strong knowledge of product categories and pricing practices is important, as are solid math, analytical, communication, organization, and computer skills. The ability to read specifications and drawings is also needed. Some travel may be required. The annual pay range for this role is $82,682 to $124,023.
