Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a senior quality assurance engineer to own testing strategy for a mix of established web products and newer AI-enabled features. This role is suited to someone who can define quality standards from the ground up, build the automation and evaluation methods to measure them, and partner closely with engineering and product teams throughout the delivery process. You will design and maintain automated test coverage using a modern scripting-based framework, with a strong focus on functional, regression, API, cross-browser, and performance testing. A major part of the role involves assessing open-ended or variable-output experiences, where success is not limited to a single expected response. In those cases, you will help create practical ways to measure consistency, safety, and usefulness over time. The position also calls for hands-on exploratory testing, defect investigation, and clear communication of risk and quality issues. You will work quality practices into the development workflow and integrate testing into continuous delivery pipelines to support faster, more reliable releases. The ideal candidate brings several years of QA or test automation experience, strong debugging skills, and confidence working with modern tooling. Experience with conversational interfaces, API testing, and product evaluation methods is helpful. A senior-level mindset, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to define and defend quality trade-offs are essential.
