Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA and automation specialist to help build and lead testing practices across a growing engineering organization. This role is focused on creating a consistent quality standard for software released across web applications, mobile experiences, backend services, and embedded or device-based software. As the first dedicated quality hire of this kind, you will design the testing strategy, establish automation coverage, and help teams align on what quality means before code is considered complete. In this position, you will take ownership of a new automated test foundation, starting with one product area and expanding it into a repeatable model for the rest of the team. You will work closely with engineering leadership to define testing expectations, reduce regressions, and improve release confidence. The work will include both hands-on test development and broader process design. The ideal candidate has built test automation from the ground up, not only maintained existing suites. You should be comfortable with modern browser automation and mobile testing tools, and have experience writing practical test plans for both new features and legacy systems. A background in testing web technologies, mobile apps, and lower-level software is important, along with the ability to influence engineering habits and raise the bar across teams.
