The organization is seeking a Senior Program Officer to oversee funding programs within its network. This role will involve providing strategic and operational leadership in assessing, approving, monitoring, and administering contribution agreements, while promoting accountability and Indigenous-led economic development. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in financial analysis, policy interpretation, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include reviewing funding applications and documentation for eligibility, interpreting funding guidelines, and identifying compliance concerns. The Senior Program Officer will also review budgets and financial reports for accuracy, process payments, and administer contribution agreements while monitoring compliance with contractual requirements. Additionally, the role involves analyzing financial and program data to identify trends and risks, as well as engaging with stakeholders to discuss funding and program requirements. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Economics, with 7–10 years of experience in funding program administration. Experience in supporting Indigenous economic development initiatives is highly desirable.
