Senior Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a senior portfolio professional to oversee the ongoing management of a lending and lease investment book. This is a full-time, permanent, in-office role based in Calgary, with standard weekday business hours. The compensation package includes a base salary in the $100,000 to $125,000 range, plus eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus. In this role, you will manage post-closing activity across a portfolio of asset-backed transactions, with a focus on monitoring collateral position, credit quality, and borrower performance. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, legal counsel, and other advisors to ensure reporting is received, obligations are tracked, and issues are addressed promptly. The position also involves supporting new deal handoff from underwriting, setting up payment and reporting expectations, and following through on required documentation after closing. A key part of the job is identifying early signs of risk, reviewing financial and operating information, and preparing clear recommendations for senior stakeholders when action is needed. You will also help guide restructurings, amendments, and recovery efforts where credits become stressed. In addition, you will contribute to team development by supporting junior staff while also collaborating with leadership on portfolio efficiency, capital protection, and overall business growth.
