Senior Operations Manager

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on managing the full order processing workflow in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with sales and operations leaders to make sure customer orders are handled accurately, on time, and in line with production capacity and service expectations. The position leads a small team responsible for order entry, customer support, and issue resolution. You will guide day-to-day priorities, support staff development, and step in on more complex orders, urgent requests, and customer concerns. A key part of the role is improving how work moves through the department by refining procedures, setting standards, tracking performance, and identifying opportunities to work more efficiently. You will also collaborate with internal teams such as production, finance, sales, and purchasing to resolve exceptions, support special requests, and address pricing or credit-related issues. The role includes regular review of order accuracy, fulfillment timing, and service quality, along with training and coaching team members on systems and processes. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing order management, strong leadership skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ERP or order management software, along with advanced spreadsheet skills, is preferred. A background in operations, business, or a related field, plus several years of progressive experience and prior supervisory experience, is required.
