Senior Mining Engineer

We are seeking an experienced senior mining engineer to support a range of mine planning and engineering projects. This role is suited to a professional with a strong background across operational, consulting, and project environments, along with the ability to provide practical technical and economic advice to mining clients. In this position, you will contribute to mine design, planning support, permitting-related work, geotechnical inputs, and financial evaluation. You may also take a lead role on multidisciplinary assignments, coordinate the work of others, and help guide project delivery from scope and budgeting through scheduling and client communication. Business development is part of the role as well, including identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate brings advanced knowledge of mine planning and analysis tools, strong spreadsheet and modeling capability, and clear technical writing and presentation skills. Attention to detail, sound judgment around project risk, and a collaborative approach are important. Experience mentoring staff and supporting innovative approaches to mining challenges is an asset. A bachelor’s degree in mining, civil, or geotechnical engineering is required, along with extensive relevant experience. Professional engineering registration in British Columbia is also required.
