Senior iOS Mobile Developer - Backbase

We are seeking a Senior iOS Mobile Developer with experience in digital banking platforms to join our remote team. This role involves building and enhancing mobile applications for financial services clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating high-quality mobile applications and delivering exceptional user experiences. You should be comfortable collaborating with clients and stakeholders, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining attention to detail. Key responsibilities include developing, customizing, and maintaining native iOS applications, integrating mobile components to meet specific client requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable banking solutions. You will also participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and testing, while troubleshooting production issues to ensure high application performance. Candidates must have over 5 years of professional iOS development experience, strong proficiency in Swift and UIKit, and hands-on experience with digital banking solutions. Familiarity with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modern mobile development patterns is essential, along with experience in integrating REST APIs and creating automated unit tests. Strong communication skills and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field are required. This is a fully remote, full-time position open to candidates across the Americas, with compensation ranging from CAD $90,000 to $130,000 annually for Canadian employees, based on experience. Equivalent contractor rates will be considered for candidates outside Canada.
