Senior Investigator

We are seeking a talented Senior Investigator to join our team, contributing to public service and promoting fairness in financial matters. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $80,000 - $110,000. The role involves investigating and resolving complaints related to financial services, handling cases that vary in complexity. Investigators are expected to exercise independent judgment while managing a moderate to high caseload. Key responsibilities include organizing case files, reviewing documentation, developing investigation plans, conducting interviews, and analyzing information. Investigators will maintain regular communication with all parties involved and reach well-reasoned conclusions based on thorough investigations. Additionally, the role requires drafting clear reports and facilitating settlements when possible. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of the financial services industry and demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. The ability to conduct investigations in both official languages is a significant asset.
