Senior Hybrid Powertrain Integration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced engineer to support the integration of a hybrid powertrain system within a complex vehicle platform. This role focuses on electrical architecture, subsystem validation, and coordination across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure safe and reliable power delivery. You will help define and maintain the interfaces between energy storage, generator-based power sources, and downstream loads, while supporting verification activities and technical documentation. Key responsibilities include integrating and refining high-voltage DC power distribution, developing safe isolation and switching approaches, and supporting the design of pre-charge and contactor control logic to protect equipment during power transitions. You will also assist with fault detection and troubleshooting of insulation issues, electromagnetic interference, and signal integrity concerns in a mixed high-power environment. In addition, you will participate in test planning, review results, track integration risks, and help keep design records and compliance materials up to date. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical or systems engineering, with hands-on experience in high-voltage power systems, battery interfaces, and lab-based validation. Familiarity with test instruments, cross-functional collaboration, and structured problem solving is important. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical teams are essential.
