Senior Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional who is comfortable working closely with leaders and employees to provide practical, day-to-day support across a broad range of HR functions. This role is a strong fit for someone who values relationship-building, sound judgment, and a hands-on approach in a collaborative environment. As a senior member of the HR team, you will support the full employee journey, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, learning and development coordination, leave management, compliance, and internal HR projects. You will act as a trusted resource for managers and staff, helping address workplace matters fairly and consistently while contributing to a respectful and productive culture. Key responsibilities include advising leaders on employee issues, performance concerns, attendance, accommodations, and policy interpretation; supporting investigations and conflict resolution; coordinating hiring activities from posting through onboarding; administering payroll and related HR system updates; managing leaves and return-to-work processes; and maintaining accurate, confidential employee records. You will also help prepare HR correspondence, support policy updates, and contribute to engagement and improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will bring several years of progressive generalist experience, post-secondary education in a related field, professional HR certification, and a strong understanding of employment legislation. Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and employee relations is important, along with excellent communication, organization, discretion, and attention to detail.
