Senior HSE Coordinator

A company is seeking a Senior Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator to support and implement health, safety, and compliance programs across various project-based operations. This role emphasizes field-level safety oversight, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of safety practices. The successful candidate will collaborate with operations, dispatch, drivers, and industrial clients to ensure that all safety requirements are met in both transportation and site environments. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with health, safety, and transportation regulations, conducting routine inspections, monitoring adherence to safety policies, and supporting the implementation of safety programs. The coordinator will also monitor driver compliance, assist with driver coaching, and support incident management by investigating collisions and documenting findings. Additionally, the role involves coordinating and delivering safety training programs and liaising with clients to ensure safety requirements are met. Candidates should possess a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation or be in progress, a post-secondary Occupational Health and Safety diploma, and 3-5 years of experience in a safety or industrial environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. This position involves a combination of field and office work, with significant travel required.
