We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the full lifecycle of net asset value production for a varied client portfolio. In this role, you will work with complex investment structures across multiple jurisdictions and serve as a primary contact for assigned clients. The position requires someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Key responsibilities include preparing and/or reviewing periodic valuation work, recording capital contributions and withdrawals, reconciling cash balances, and monitoring investment activity. You will also help value portfolios containing a range of securities and derivatives, ensure income and expenses are properly accrued, and support the preparation of investor reporting, financial statements, and year-end audit and tax requests. In addition, you may handle ad hoc reporting, respond to client inquiries in a timely manner, and escalate issues when needed. This role also includes coaching and supporting junior team members.
The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in accounting or administration for investment vehicles, along with a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Strong Excel skills, solid knowledge of accounting principles, and excellent communication and time management abilities are important. Professional designation experience is considered an asset, as is exposure to common industry systems and open-ended investment structures.
