Senior Financial Analyst

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Financial Analyst to help strengthen the finance function of a growing, mission-driven organization. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys building structure in a fast-changing environment and can develop practical processes, reporting routines, and financial controls that support long-term growth. You will work closely with senior leadership and external finance support to improve budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, while turning financial data into clear guidance for business decisions. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining financial policies, workflows, and analysis tools; owning regular budget, forecast, and actuals reporting; and supporting financial packages for internal and external stakeholders. You will also contribute to funding-related planning, tax incentive administration, grant tracking, and equity program support in coordination with advisors and other team members. In addition, you will help prepare cash flow, income statement, and balance sheet analysis, and provide insight that supports operational planning and capital-related discussions. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, a CPA designation, and at least five years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, modelling, and reporting. Strong spreadsheet skills and familiarity with common finance and payroll systems are important. Experience in a scaling organization is an asset.
