Senior Estimator

We are seeking a Senior Estimator with extensive experience in marine and heavy civil construction to join our team. This senior leadership role involves developing accurate, competitive estimates for complex projects, influencing strategy, and mentoring junior estimators. Key responsibilities include managing multiple tenders, evaluating risks and constructability, coordinating subcontractor pricing, and collaborating with project teams and leadership to ensure high-quality bid submissions. The successful candidate will lead the entire bid lifecycle, review tender documents, prepare risk assessments, and develop comprehensive estimates for various project types. Additionally, the role involves maintaining pricing databases and upholding health, safety, and environmental commitments throughout the estimating and pre-construction phases. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of senior-level estimating experience in marine, piling, or heavy civil construction. Proficiency in estimating software and advanced skills in Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project are essential. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines. The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 per annum, with compensation based on experience and qualifications.
