Senior Engineering Manager

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with over 8 years of software engineering experience, including a minimum of 4 years in leadership roles. This full-time position involves leading high-performing engineering teams in an innovative delivery model that emphasizes AI assistance and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will be responsible for people management, technical execution, customer-facing delivery ownership, and contributing to architecture and hands-on engineering across various technologies, including full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, databases, DevOps, and automation practices. Key responsibilities include mentoring and developing engineering teams, managing performance feedback, coaching, and career development, while fostering a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement. The role also involves partnering with Technical Leads to provide strong technical direction and support hiring and skill development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with technologies such as C#.NET, Angular, React, Python, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and cloud platforms. They should be adept at promoting AI-assisted engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring secure and maintainable outputs that align with architectural standards. The salary for this position ranges from CAD 150,000 to CAD 170,000 per year, with negotiable terms.
