A dynamic consulting firm is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Senior Engineer to join their Rural Servicing team. This role provides the opportunity to lead current projects and explore future initiatives in the field of decentralized sewage and water servicing, development approvals, and water resource impact studies. The ideal candidate will direct the technical aspects of decentralized servicing projects, including field methodologies, reporting, and client deliverables. Responsibilities include designing on-site sewage systems, conducting water resource impact assessments, monitoring environmental compliance, and managing development approval studies.
The successful candidate will liaise with regulatory bodies on development applications and permits, develop technical work plans and financial proposals, and prepare comprehensive technical reports. Excellent client management skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate with team members to drive new business initiatives.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, and be a registered Professional Engineer. A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in managing land development and construction projects, is required. Strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, and access to a vehicle are necessary.
