Senior Director of Finance

A growing multi-entity organization is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee core accounting, reporting, and planning functions. This role reports to the CEO and sits within a hybrid work environment with a regular in-office schedule and flexibility to work remotely one day per week. The Senior Director of Finance will lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including consolidated statements across multiple entities and currencies in accordance with the applicable accounting framework. The role will manage the annual external audit, coordinate closely with auditors, and ensure questions and deliverables are handled efficiently. You will also support banking and lending relationships, maintain compliance requirements, and oversee key reporting obligations. In addition, this position will guide a finance and accounting team, providing coaching, structure, and support for professional development. Other responsibilities include oversight of tax filings and compliance, strengthening budgeting and forecasting processes, improving KPI reporting and variance analysis, and supporting management with financial modeling and performance insight. The role also plays a key part in cash management, working capital oversight, credit monitoring, and insurance renewals. Qualified candidates will hold a CPA designation and a relevant degree, along with significant finance or accounting experience, including time in a senior leadership role. Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional partnership skills are essential.
