This role is responsible for leading major gifts fundraising and strengthening relationships with current and prospective donors. Working in a hybrid environment, the position helps advance fundraising priorities by identifying new support opportunities, building a strong donor pipeline, and creating tailored engagement plans that encourage long-term philanthropic giving.
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, with a focus on cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of significant gifts. Key duties include researching and qualifying prospects, maintaining accurate donor records, and using fundraising data to guide planning and decision-making. The role also involves working closely with internal colleagues, leadership, board members, and external partners to support coordinated fundraising efforts and consistent messaging.
This position requires strong relationship-building skills, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities while managing multiple tasks. Experience developing donor strategies, securing major gifts, and delivering thoughtful stewardship is essential. A post-secondary credential in fundraising, nonprofit management, philanthropy, or a related area is preferred, along with equivalent practical experience. A professional fundraising designation is considered an asset.
The salary range for this position is competitive and aligned with experience.
