Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced data scientist to support fraud detection initiatives in a fast-moving, analytics-driven environment. This role combines hands-on model development with detailed case analysis, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys both building production-ready solutions and digging into complex fraud patterns. You will take ownership of the full machine learning workflow, from exploring data and designing features to training, deploying, and monitoring models. The work involves large, messy, and highly imbalanced datasets, so experience turning raw behavioral, device, network, and transaction data into useful signals is important. You will also help streamline analysis and reporting through automation and modern AI-assisted workflows where appropriate. In addition to model work, you will investigate individual fraud cases to understand how attacks were carried out, identify common tactics across incidents, and translate findings into practical improvements. You will prepare clear written summaries and trend analyses for internal teams and external stakeholders, helping them act on the results. The ideal candidate has an advanced degree in a quantitative field, several years of experience in fraud, cybersecurity, or another adversarial risk area, and strong Python and SQL skills. Experience with distributed data processing and production machine learning systems is highly valuable.
