Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help build and own the data and machine learning platform that supports production services, business reporting, and product decisioning. This is a high-ownership role with significant opportunity to shape how data engineering is practiced across the organization. In this role, you will own and evolve the data platform, including the warehouse, transformation layers, orchestration, and ingestion pipelines that support analytics and machine learning workloads. You will build and operate the ML platform, including training pipelines, model serving, CI/CD, containerization, and typed contracts. You will also take operational ownership of model-serving infrastructure to improve reliability and reduce dependency on data scientists. You will help harden and standardize the data models used across the business by improving schemas, addressing data quality issues, and establishing trusted source-of-truth datasets. In addition, you will contribute to data governance and observability, including bringing externally stored data under proper governance and building operational metrics where needed. You will work closely with data science, backend, and product teams to define and maintain clear producer-to-consumer contracts. The ideal candidate has experience building scalable data pipelines, reliable datasets, feature pipelines, and production data services. Strong skills in Python, SQL, and cloud-based data tooling are expected, along with experience in orchestration, data transformation, machine learning infrastructure, and infrastructure as code. Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, and modern ML platform tools is an asset.
