Senior Data Annotation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced data annotation professional to support the quality of training data used in AI and machine learning systems. This remote, full-time position focuses on precise labeling, review, and quality checks across a range of data types and evaluation workflows. In this role, you will work on text and image-based annotation tasks, including safety-related review, entity tagging, intent and sentiment classification, span labeling, and visual annotation such as boxes, polygons, points, masks, and frame-by-frame review. You will also take part in model evaluation activities, including ranking outputs, making side-by-side judgments, and scoring responses using defined criteria. A key part of the job is auditing annotation quality, identifying recurring issues, and helping maintain consistency with established guidelines. You should have hands-on experience in annotation operations, a strong sense of ownership over quality, and the ability to apply detailed instructions carefully and consistently. Clear written documentation, good judgment, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are important. Experience reviewing AI-generated outputs, supporting policy-based evaluations, or improving QA processes is beneficial. Compensation is a competitive hourly rate of USD 30 to 50.
