Senior Controls Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Industrial Controls Manager and be responsible for delivering and maintaining advanced automation systems at various customer sites. Key responsibilities include leading installations, commissioning, FAT/SAT testing, and troubleshooting, as well as providing expert remote and on-site support and training. You will collaborate with vendors and ensure high-quality service that drives customer success. Travel to customer locations for installations and troubleshooting will be required. You will serve as the primary on-call technician, responding promptly to emergency service requests. Additional responsibilities include developing and optimizing PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs, implementing safety systems, integrating robotics and motion control systems, configuring VFDs and industrial networks, and documenting system configurations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of experience in electrical design and troubleshooting, along with a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Proficiency in control system design using AutoCAD or ePLAN and knowledge of PLCs and HMI programming is essential. A commitment to customer service and experience in manufacturing or related industries is a plus.
