We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join a dynamic team in the logistics and trucking industry. This full-time position offers a blend of in-office and remote work flexibility. The ideal candidate will take ownership of financial records and contribute to the development of efficient financial processes as the organization continues to grow. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized financial records. Key responsibilities include managing company books using accounting software, handling daily accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and reconciliations. You will prepare financial reports and summaries, identify areas for process improvement, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The successful candidate will possess an Associate’s degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping, or equivalent hands-on experience, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in accounting software is essential, and familiarity with technology tools is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial, as is the ability to work independently and proactively address issues.
