Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support the finance operations of a private investment organization. This role will focus on day-to-day accounting, tax-related work, and reporting tied to a diverse portfolio of holdings and investment activities. The successful candidate will manage general ledger tasks, prepare reconciliations, assist with financial statements, and help ensure records are accurate and up to date. Responsibilities also include coordinating with external advisors on tax compliance and filings, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and contributing to ad hoc analysis for investment-related matters. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to maintain organized financial information and improve accounting processes where possible. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, solid knowledge of tax and reporting requirements, and experience working with complex financial structures or investment entities. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information are essential. Professional accounting designation or progress toward one is preferred.
