Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to support day-to-day financial operations and contribute to accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary background in accounting, finance, business, or a similar field, along with several years of progressively responsible experience in accounting. This role involves handling core accounting tasks, maintaining organized financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end processes. Experience in a project-based or construction-related environment would be considered an advantage, but it is not essential. A strong understanding of financial controls, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are important for success in this position. Familiarity with human resources practices and employment legislation is also helpful, as the role may involve occasional support with related administrative matters.
