Senior Accountant

A dynamic organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in a hybrid work environment. This full-time, permanent position involves supporting core accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis, while collaborating with various leaders across the business to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial information. Key responsibilities include managing inventory accounting, overseeing fixed asset accounting, tracking loan activity, and supporting the monthly close process through journal entries and reconciliations. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow reporting, as well as developing financial metrics and dashboards for various teams. Candidates should possess a CPA or be in progress, with a preference for those with industry experience in transportation or maintenance. A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience is required, along with strong knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in accounting systems. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential.
